Chopped Ladies Fingers

Just before these went into the delicious curry that Kanchana made, I had an opportunity to snap away at them for a few minutes. This snap turned out to be the best among the snaps that I took. The lighting is natural sunlight and if you are wondering why the ISO is so high for a macro shot, it was an accident. I noticed it only long after the models were being digested in my stomach, so there was no chance to reshoot :-)
ISO: 200 || Aperture: f/3.5 || Shutter speed: 1/800 sec

Hey,
As you know, I'm a noob in photography so could you tell me why ISO-200 is too high for macro? I don't see anything wrong with that shot. It's actually perfect for me. And making me hungry too!
Cheers!

I am a beginer with photography, i know about ISO. but why macro can't use high macro? high when i use high march to shot, i'll always get noise in my photo.
Higher ISO tends to produce noise and it is advisable to use it only when you have real low light. In macro shots where detail is all important, noise is certainly not desirable. So it is best to shoot macro shots with the lowest ISO possible and with adequate lighting. In this picture, I had good lighting and could have avoided the higher ISO which has led to some amount of graininess in the picture (seen only at higher resolution).
