Lonely at the top

This was taken last year during my trip to Srirangapatna. The gardens in this palace are fantastic. Simply green all over and they have these plants in the centre which attracts guys like in the picture by the dozen. This one was pretty patient with me and allowed me to get really close for a few snaps. Love the DOF in this - simply puts the fly in perfect focus.

Amazing Shot here! these guys are really a pain to click at times! especially when you have locked the focus and just when you click they fly away.. only after a lot of time you get one who likes modelling and poses for you :)
