O! I really like that one! I love everything in that shot - light, composition, focus...

I posted too fast ;)

Have you tried a little wider look at that figurine? How about zooming this frame to 50% and putting it in a corner of bigger white canvas? There should be some more shadows maybe. What do you think?

This looks great on the white background, and I like all the textures and patterns!

nice lighting! good details captured.. the composition is very tight and because of that the eye is lost, none of the important parts are in the so called golden points. its difficult with such an odd shaped elephant but then i would go only for the head or something.. let me know what you think :)

Thanks for all your comments!

Shyha - In this picture I wanted to get the elephant in focus and the white background to only provide a contrast. I did have some shadows but I removed them as I did not want the viewer to be distracted. Anyway, I think your suggestion is interesting and I will soon try to frame one like that.

Nish - Nish, I really appreciate your comments. But as I said, I wanted the composition to be tight so that the Elephant is the only entity in this picture. You are right in that the eye is lost but the intended effect of this picture was only a 3d kind of look - the elephant almost jumping onto you! I think I have achieved that to some extent.
