Lecture and Presentation by Mr.Bhairav Thakkar
Bangalore Shutter Bugs, Bangalore's online photoenthusiasts group, is organizing a lecture and presentation by Mr.Bhairav Thakkar.

Bhairav Thakkar, the former convener of IISC photography club, has developed his knack with Black and White photography. He does his own developing, processing, and printing. Mr.Thakkar has been into photography for the past 7-8 years and mostly works with portraits and landscapes. Our dear member Kaushik B has organized for him to come and give us an insight into his works, techniques and knowledge.
The topics he shall be touching upon are as under:
1) Image values and visualization
2) Films: Panchromatic/chromogenic/Infrared/Slides
3) Paper: Grades/Multigrade paper
4) Zone System - Exposure/Developing/Printing
5) Metering and exposure - Matrix/Centre weighted/Spot - when to select which
6) Contrast control - Exposure/Filters/Developing/Printing
7) Mood emphasis: Grain/Patterns/Textures/High Key/Low Key/Silhouettes
The interactive session with Mr.Bhairav Thakkar includes tea/coffee and a Buffet Lunch, for a small fee of Rs.200/- only.
Venue: RMV club, Dollars Colony, New BEL Road, Bangalore.
