Eyes

Children have a way of establishing eye contact with you in the most innocent and adorable fashion. However, if you reciprocate back, they consciously tend to avoid your gaze. But the curiosity to check up if you are still staring is always there and at regular intervals of time, they look back at you. At that moment if there is eye contact, they go back to pretend that you do not exist at all.

This girl at one of the traffic signals at Bangalore fell into the same pattern. As the bus moved away, she gave a final glance and was lost to me forever except for this photograph.

What is the best in this photo? Intrigue! I can think of hundreds of things that could be behind this pic. It's a great city photo. As I wrote it couple of times before - you're a great reporter Suyog.
