Turmeric



Continuing with the series of photos of spices and other stuff from the Indian kitchen. After the clove, is the humble turmeric or haldi used as a spice in most Indian curries. Apart from its culinary properties, every home in India uses it as a primary antiseptic for cuts and burns.
